LP Soundbook Ltd Edition 4 p booklet - Porco Rosso
Based on the story of Porco Rosso, which was originally a comic strip by Miyazaki entitled Hikotei Jidai, this album in the form of a film score was originally released on 25 May 1992. Based on the author's notes, it sketched out the future soundtrack to the cartoon, drawing on a certain idea of Italy in the 1920s.
Completely remastered and for the first time on vinyl, this new edition gives pride of place to audio quality, paying a vibrant tribute to Joe Hisaishi's composition. The illustrations for this formidable graphic work are also given pride of place, with a new cover design among other things.
